We’re Hiring: New Communities Support Officer (Part-Time, 12-Month Contract)

Location: County Louth
Hours: 20 hours per week (including regular Saturdays)
Contract: 12 months

Louth Volunteer Centre is looking for a motivated and welcoming New Communities Support Officer to join our team. This role will support engagement, inclusion, and participation of new communities across County Louth.

Key Priorities

• Develop and coordinate Saturday English language classes.
• Expand and support our Community Orientation Befriending Project.
• Connect new community members to volunteering and community opportunities.
• Build partnerships with local organisations and services to enhance inclusion.

Who We’re Looking For

• Experience working with diverse communities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organise and coordinate projects, with flexibility to work Saturdays.
• Enthusiasm for supporting community integration and participation.
