Kayleigh Mulligan

Manager

Kayleigh joined the Louth Volunteer Centre in January 2013 and in 2022 took over as Manager. Her role includes supporting organisations and volunteers in the North Louth area, assisting in identifying and filling volunteering roles within organisations and helping volunteers to find suitable, fulfilling volunteering opportunities. Kayleigh is available every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday in Dundalk - by appointment or for a drop-in visit - to meet with any organisation or volunteer who feel they may need support or information. Olivia Conlon

Acting Manager

Olivia joined the team in January 2022. Her role is to support volunteers and organisations and promote the benefits of volunteering in Louth. Olivia is available in the Dundalk Office every Monday and Wednesday and the Drogheda Office every Thursday and Friday. Olivia regularly speaks to groups about the benefits of volunteering and how they can get involved. Olivia is also a qualified trainer and delivers workshop and training sessions to organisations and volunteers. Olivia also offers administrative assistance to the Garda Vetting Service provided by Louth Volunteer Centre. Emma Walker

Volunteer Development Officer

Emma joined the team in late 2023 as the Volunteer Development Officer with Louth Volunteer Centre. She supports the engagement team in their work and is involved in Outreach events that promote volunteerism to organisations and the general public in Louth. Emma works cross site in our Dundalk office (County Hall, Dundalk) and in our Drogheda office (Bolton St). Emma is available to meet existing and new organisations in North Louth that wish to involve volunteers.

Karen Donlon

Organisation Support Officer

Karen joined the Louth Volunteer Centre in May 2008. Central to her work is the aim to provide a free, high quality volunteer placement service in a friendly and professional manner, where volunteering is the focus of her work. She aims to offer professional support and advice to organisations around their volunteering needs, so that they can achieve best practice principles in volunteer management. Karen facilitates the National Volunteer Management Training Programme, to organisations working in County Louth. Karen is also the centre's Garda Vetting Liaison Person. She provides access to Garda Vetting services for small organisations that cannot access a Garda Vetting Liaison Person through their own organisational structures. Karen provides an outreach service in Ardee Library Every second Thursday. Tracy Rooney

Community Volunteer Officer

Tracy is the Community Volunteers Officer, with responsibility for the administration for the Louth Community Volunteers Programme. Tracy is also the team administrator, assisting the Louth Volunteer Centre manager and other team members in areas such as finance and general administration.

Marisa McHugh

Volunteer Engagement Team

Marisa is a member of the volunteer engagement team. She supports the day to day running of the centre such as processing volunteer registrations and applications for new roles and checking in on volunteers on a regular basis to see how they are getting on with their volunteering. Marisa also supports Louth Volunteers Centre Cards of Care role and is the link between the nursing homes and volunteers. As part of this role Marisa keeps volunteers up to date with upcoming birthdays and special occasions of residents in the nursing homes which ensures that each resident receive a card on their special day.

Karen McKeown

Volunteer Engagement Team

Karen joined the team last year and works as part of the volunteer engagement team supporting the day to day running of the centre. Her role is offering to support to volunteers to find suitable volunteer opportunities and offering support to people who visit our Drogheda office to learn more about the service we offer and helping them to register as a volunteer. Karen also carries out Administrative duties for the Garda vetting service offered by Louth Volunteer Centre.

Dan Finlay

Volunteer Engagement Team

Dan joined the volunteer engagement team this year. His role is offering support to volunteers to register as a volunteer and find suitable volunteer roles. Dan works in our Drogheda Office and is available for people who drop into the office and want to know more about volunteering. Dan also does some work with assisting Karen our organisation support officer on linking in with organisation after a volunteer role to see how it went and keep accurate records of volunteer hours.

Stephen Culligan

Volunteer Engagement Team

Stephen is a volunteer in our Drogheda office. He works as part of the volunteer engagement team supporting volunteers to register and find suitable volunteer opportunities. Stephen also offers a lot of IT support to Louth Volunteer Centre ensuring that all our lap tops, phones and printers are in working order.

Enda McBride

Volunteer Engagement Team

Enda is a volunteer in our Dundalk Office. He works as part of the volunteer engagement team and supports volunteers to register and find suitable volunteers roles. He also carries out regular calls to our Dundalk volunteers to see how they are getting on with their volunteering. Enda is available in our Dundalk office on Thursday for volunteers looking to drop in and find out more about volunteering and the types of opportunities available.

Luke Halpenny

Volunteer Administrator

Luke volunteers in our Drogheda office. He carries out a number of different administration duties for the centre as well as carrying out work creating graphics and documents when needed.
