Louth Volunteer Centre Invites You to “Lead with Purpose”

Castlebellingham, Co. Louth—Wednesday 5th November | Bellingham Castle

Louth Volunteer Centre is calling on local organisations and community-minded people across County Louth to STEP UP, CELEBRATE, and NOMINATE at a special event this November.

On Wednesday 5th November (coinciding with International Volunteer Managers Day), the stunning Bellingham Castle will host Lead with Purpose: Louth Trustee Celebration & Showcase from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM — an evening dedicated to celebrating the people who lead with heart and purpose on charity and community boards.

This special evening will unite graduates of the Louth Trustee Training Programme, board members, volunteer-involving organisations, and members of the public interested in becoming trustees. It will also feature the Louth Volunteer Leader Awards 2025, honouring those who guide, inspire, and empower volunteers across the county.

The Volunteer Centre is inviting:

•Organisations looking for new trustees or board members.

•Current trustees in community groups.

•(General Public) Anyone curious about joining a board to come along and connect.

“This is about celebrating those already making a difference — and inspiring the next generation of community leaders,” said a spokesperson for Louth Volunteer Centre.

The evening will feature certificate presentations and networking opportunities where organisations with open board roles can meet people eager to get involved.

In addition, due to exceptional interest from community groups and organisations, the nomination deadline for the Louth Volunteer Leader Awards 2025 has been extended to Friday, 24th October 2025. This year introduces a new “Trustee of the Year” category — celebrating outstanding commitment and leadership at the board level and strengthening the connection between trusteeship and volunteer management.

All nominees will be invited to the celebration at Bellingham Castle. Visit www.volunteerlouth.ie to nominate. If you’re leading change, supporting volunteers, or thinking about how you can make a difference — this is your invitation. Come along and enjoy the festivities!RSVP: info@volunteerlouth.ie
